We figured it was about time to kick off a blog for Lagless.gg. If you're reading this, chances are you may already have heard about us before from Discord, or other communities, but if not – welcome!
Lagless started earlier this year with just 3 clients and a couple servers. From day one, our vision was clear: build hosting that gamers could actually trust. We knew the industry was full of overpromises, hidden fees, and underpowered machines, and we wanted to do better. Our focus was simple—create servers that are fast, reliable, and affordable, without the fine print or gimmicks.
Fast forward to now - we've grown to over 600 clients, and a Discord community of more than 530 members. That kind of growth has been wild to watch, and it's all thanks to the people who believed in what we're building.
Why Lagless Exists
We started Lagless because we were tired of outdated hardware, laggy connections and routing, surprise fees, and providers who don't really "get" the gaming side of hosting. Our focus is simple:
- Performance first - we run everything on Ryzen 9 9900X/9950X hardware so your servers actually keep up
- Straightforward pricing - $2/gb, no "oh but it costs more in X location" nonsense
- Real protection - every server comes with DDoS protection built in
That's it. No buzzwords, no gimmicks, just hosting that works.
What's Next
We've got a lot on the horizon. The biggest one? Singapore is now open for pre-orders. This will be our second expansion outside the US, and our first into the APAC region - and we're keeping the same $2/gb pricing. No extra surcharges just because it's overseas or in a more tech dense region.
After that, we've got more locations planned, plus some guides and community spotlights we'll be sharing here on the blog.
